Turnover (2013)

Turnover is a four-player multi-gravity steal-the-ball-n-run frenzy. The installation-based game is designed to be played top down – with the display placed or projected onto the floor, and players standing on one side of the screen each. The four characters in the game each have a different direction of gravity. The four players compete against each other in stealing the bouncing white ball and holding on to it until their timer reaches zero. The first player’s timer to reach zero wins.

Turnover was created at the second annual TIGJam game jam in Melbourne, Australia. The team was happy with the jam outcome and decided to continue working on the project. After several fun hours of playtesting over multiple sessions, the team finally created a fun and challenging game best suited for arcade and local multiplayer parties and events. Since then, the game has travelled around the world and played at many local multiplayer gatherings and parties. The game was never released and can only be played exclusively at videogame events and happenings.
