Dualcyon is an experimental Leap & VR puzzle game for two.
Each player is equipped with an Oculus Rift and a head-mounted Leap Motion. However, the twist is that the Leap Motion controllers are switched, meaning the hands you see inside your Oculus Rift is not yours, but the other player’s. Players are dependent on one another, and therefore must verbally communicate and work together to solve puzzles to advance further in the game.
The game was created together with Ho Hsin Yang for the Leap Motion & IndieCade game jam ‘3D Jam’ in 2014, and received the Coolest (and Most Complex) Hardware Setup Award.
